 JFW International Fashion Fair was held at Tokyo Big Sight Exhibition Center from 16t to 18th of July 2008. A total of 797 Exhibitors were present from 21 different countries exhibiting their products and service. Estimates of 30,000 attendees were present during the three day show.
The big market trend in women’s apparel was Natural wear. Natural wear is has been the apparent trend this year; women’s fashions are more casual than before. American casual remains strong with men’s apparel, sporting apparel and checkered patterns are especially popular this year.
Many exhibitors had on display the trendy patterns that are so popular this year. Handmade accessories were of much interest with attendee’s.
New materials and manufacturing technology is the key to the apparel industry with consumers looking more the new fabric and unique items.
Some of the exhibitors used aroma therapy effects in their booth to enhance the experience with introducing their products to potential customers. Thus providing an inviting atmosphere and increases their brand recognition.
